My
credo
is to educate people about health and wellness. No person had a greater
impact on my life towards achieving this personal credo than Norm Hoffman.
Norm was first my teacher, then became my coach, mentor, colleague, and most
importantly--my best friend. On March 14th, 2001 at 3:35 PM, Norm was
tragically killed while training for the U.S. National Masters Cycling
Championships by an inattentive driver. Norm had planned to win yet
another national time trial championship. Norm Hoffman's physical body is
gone...but his impact on me will live with each breath of life along my
journey...I am a better man for having known him.
